Atlantic Lottery exists to make a game-changing impact on the people and places of Atlantic Canada. As a publicly owned corporation, every dollar of our profit stays right here in our region to help fund important services we all use, like health care, education and infrastructure.
In 2025-2026, Atlantic Lottery returned $492 million to our government shareholders of the four Atlantic provinces. In the same year, we also awarded $455.7 million in prizes for winners all across Atlantic Canada.
In addition to the profit returned and prizes awarded, Atlantic Lottery paid over $115.6 million in commissions to our retail partners and supported nearly $2 billion in regional economic activity.
Atlantic Lottery employs more than 700 people and indirectly contributes to more than 7,500 jobs for people who live, work, volunteer and spend their salaries in our communities.
Contributing to a stronger Atlantic Canada is exactly why the four provincial governments created Atlantic Lottery 50 years ago. Since our inception in 1976, Atlantic Lottery has returned more than $13.4 billion in profit to the Atlantic region and paid out more than $13 billion in prizes.
